The ecoTEC plus combination boiler is one of the most popular boilers currently in the UK. At 37kg it is one of the lowest weight boilers on the market. The boiler is SEDBUK A rated, and comes with Vaillant's 'AquaComfort' system. This incorporates a warmstart facility, providing instantaneous hot water delivery and a controlling system to ensure a constant hot water temperature.
All ecoTEC plus combi boilers have a built in filling loop, boiler display system which provides diagnostic information for easy servicing and commissioning and a 2 year guarantee. The ecoTEC range also has a variable termination flue system for awkward installations.

Weather compensation can offer fuel saving benefits by taking into account the outside temperature and reducing the boiler heat output accordingly. The VRC 430 has blue backlit, plain text display with numbered screens for clear, easy to read information. Dual 'click and turn' knobs for selecting and changing data. 3 independent time windows per day with set-back temperature. The VRC 430 has a flexible 7 day or 24 hour time control with independent time control for heating and hot water. When used with ecoTEC combination boilers, the hot water program can be used to provide time control of the 'AquaComfort' system.
When used with a system or open vent boiler and additional VR 65 Control centre the VRC 430 hot water channel can be used to time the hot water cylinder charging. The programmer has 3 independent on/off periods per day, central heating advance function, holiday set-back function, adjustable set-back temperature and 3 room temperature profiles. There is also a calendar function for automatic summer/winter changeover. The VRC 430 can be used with all ecoTEC boilers.

The VRC 400 is a versatile digital weather compensator which also has an in-built hot water programmer, designed to be plugged into the boiler fascia or alternatively be wall-mounted within the home.

An electronic room thermostat with a digital display for use only with ecoTEC plus combination boilers and timeSWITCH 130 central heating programmer.
It is easy to install since it only requires a two-wire connection to the boiler. The digital display shows the current room temperature.
To increase or decrease the room temperature, the home owner simply turns the dial and the display then shows the set temperature. The thermostat can be set to modulate the boiler depending on the actual room temperature.
